Ahhh, back from the ATLA/Legend of Korra Gallery Nucleus reception and definitely feeling the artistic inspiration! If you haven’t already, go check out our blog about the event here. What a great experience!

This week we get to see even more of the Northern Air Temple. This page is definitely more environmentally driven as the chapter begins to draw to a close. While looking at our Adobe InDesign documents and seeing the progression of this comic, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since we started bringing the project to life last summer. With so much left in store to tell and show to our audience, our enthusiasm is definitely growing.

This page is very important. It’s a very sentimental piece of the script for me, seeing how the wording is exactly the same from 2011. I think it’s a good indication of what a lot of us feel in young adulthood – we have this vision of what we’re “supposed” to be doing and how everything is supposed to go. People in our lives – parents, mentors, teachers, friends – all continuously tell us that we are doing just fine, but sometimes it’s hard to see past the perceived “success” of others. Everything looks perfect from far away, however, and that’s something Nima will soon realize about Tashi.

Thanks for reading, sharing and encouraging us as we bring these characters to life. It means more than you know. <3
